Made by the two of us, from start to finish

We are a husband and wife team, and R&G Woodwork is just us. Every piece of furniture on this site is designed, made, finished and sent out by the two of us, with no one else involved.

How every piece is made

  1. We design it. Every item starts as our own idea, worked out to be practical and sturdy for everyday use.
  2. We build it from scratch. We cut the timber and put each piece together by hand in our workshop.
  3. We finish it by hand. We sand and stain each piece in the finish you choose.
  4. We send it to you. We pack your order and send it straight to your door ourselves.

Because there is no production line, every order gets our full attention, and we take real pride in making each piece as well as we can.

Made to fit your home

A lot of our work is custom orders. If you need a piece a little wider, taller or narrower, or in a different finish, get in touch and we will tell you what we can do.

We don't waste wood

Making so many pieces to order leaves us with offcuts. We don't throw them away. They go into new pieces instead, like the coffee table in this photo, so good timber gets used rather than binned.

Before this website, most of our customers found us on eBay, which is still our longest-running shop. This site lets you buy from us directly and talk to us about exactly what you need.
